VideoDL.xyz is an independent online tool for downloading publicly available Instagram content. We are not affiliated with Instagram or Meta Platforms, Inc.

2. What information we collect

We collect the minimum amount of information needed to operate the service:

URLs you submit: When you paste an Instagram URL and click Download, that URL is sent to our server to process your request. We do not store this URL after your download is complete.
Basic server logs: Like all websites, our server automatically logs standard information such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you visit. These logs are used only for security and performance monitoring and are deleted regularly.
Cookies: We use minimal cookies for basic site functionality and for displaying ads. We do not use tracking cookies to build profiles of individual users.

3. What we do NOT collect

Your Instagram username or password — we never ask for these
Your name, email address or personal details
A record of what content you have downloaded
Payment or financial information

4. How we use information

The limited information we collect is used solely to:

Process your download request and return the result to you
Maintain server security and prevent abuse
Understand general traffic patterns to improve the service

We do not sell, rent or share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.

5. Advertising

VideoDL.xyz displays advertisements to support the free service. Our advertising partners (including Google AdSense) may use cookies to show relevant ads. You can opt out of personalised advertising through your browser settings or by visiting aboutads.info.

Download requests are processed in real-time and not stored beyond the duration of your session. Server logs are retained for a maximum of 30 days before deletion.
