Hero MotoCorp launches Hero Connect for connected mobility, Auto News, ET Auto

New Delhi: Two-wheeler manufacturer Hero MotoCorp has introduced ‘Hero Connect‘, its connected mobility wing, a cloud-based solution that is claimed to be bringing smart riding experience for the customers.

Hero Connect will be available with one-year subscription at an introductory price of Rs 4,999 at select dealerships in Noida, Delhi and Pune, informed the company.

The app will be offered across segments with four models initially, which are XPulse 200, Pleasure+, Passion XPRO and HF Deluxe. At a later stage, the technology will be available for other models in the portfolio along. Also, Hero MotoCorp aims to expand the service in other cities across the country as well, in a phased manner.

As Hero MotoCorp claims, the app will offer security and safety through features like Live Tracking, Topple Alerts, Tow Away alerts, Geo-Fence Alert, Speed Alert, etc. It will record a riding log and analyse the trips as well.Commenting on the launch of Hero Connect, Malo Le Masson, Head of Global Product Planning, Hero MotoCorp, said, “Following the XPulse 200, the first motorcycle to offer connectivity through mobile phone to riders, Hero Connect offers the next level of connectivity. With this new cloud-enabled service we aim to enhance the riding experience of our customers, at the same time making their overall experience safer and smarter.”
